Chu state held 3 beautiful zhous (cities), Xuzhou, Suzhou, Jingzhou, well-known each zhou. 

Chu people respected the phoenix, just as the Central Plains people to the dragon. A phoenix had three heads, just as Chu had three places; hence it is named as Sanchu Phoenix. Sanchu Phoenix has three heads and six eyes, and a big round belly. With three heads and six eyes it was able to reach all throughout three Chu territories (Sanchu). With the big and round belly, it was able to accommodate all things as the sea embraces all the rivers so becomes big.

Logo implications

"Three Phoenix" is a unique totem in Chu culture. According to historical records, Chu people have a thin waist, but "three Phoenix" has a big and round belly, symbolizing the breeding of life and the reproduction and prosperity of the Chu nation.

In Laozi's Tao Te Ching, "Tao generates one, one generates two, two generates three, and three generates all things" embodies the number "three" as the cardinal number for the generation and development of all things and the unit for the creation of the universe.

In ancient times, the land of Three Chu generally referred to the area south of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and now in Hunan, Hubei Province. SANCHU PHOENIX is an original cultural brand under Golden Step Shake Cultural Development Co., Ltd. Golden Step Shake, founded in 2007 by Ms. Yi Wan, a Chinese culture lover, a successor of Chu culture, and the founding president of Hubei Cheongsam Association, the Chief Creative Director of Golden Step Shake, has a 15-year history, and is committed to the purpose of "spreading Chu culture with patterns and bringing Chu culture into life", and insists on creatively transforming Chu cultural patterns.
